Bam!!! My name is Kaylee Ann Wegstein and I was an awesome child born to Kim and Jim Wegstein. (This is a bragging blog and I'm not really that awesome) Last summer honestly contains the only thing I WANT to brag about. I was in a autocross/demo at the Marshall County Sandtrap in Lacon, Illinois.... and guess what??? I won it!! Its basically a demolition derby on an oval track with 2 jumps and a mud bog pit in the center of the track. You can only run compact cars.. that are front-wheel drive. 400 bucks walked home with me that day along with 3 ticked off brothers, because they thought that money was going to be theirs. Welp.. it ended up being mine:) The car I drove was a 94-95 Toyota Camry and it was the heaviest one there. I went up against 3 of my brothers and 18 older, grown men that probably had kids no doubt. Buttt to remind you... I am 14 and honestly not old enough to drive. That's what really made the other guys mad. I didn't care lol... I haven't told anyone this before, but on my feature heat in the autocross... my dad started crying :))) He was in complete shock along with all the other people in that crowd on June 21st 2014. Great Day :)
Oh my, where do I start? This school year honestly started off great. I have gotten really close to a handful of friends really fast, but they are all from my previous years of school here at Washburn. My toughest class would have to be Electronics in Metamora. I only really know one person in that class from my school, but I know like 2 or 3 people from FFA last year. So far in that class, we have rippped apart circuit boards and built a dimmer light system with an LED. That took alot of work from me, because I've never been in that class before. While alot of people have taken that class. Butttt, the rest of my classes are pretty easy so far... SO FAR. No promises they will stay that way-.-
